Over 55 years of Damp and Timber Expertise

Tapco HomeDry has spent more than five decades protecting London and the Home Counties from damp, dry rot, woodworm and structural problems. 


Here is our journey so far.

Today

Tapco visits around 4,000 properties every year and is a long term member of the Property Care Association. We are members of Trust Mark and the Basement Waterproofing Association, and every guarantee is protected by an Insurance Backed Guarantee for added peace of mind.

2021: Celebrating 50 Years

Tapco marked half a century of continuous trading. Over the decades the team has worked with household names including National Rail and Barclays, carried out dry rot treatment at the historic Weybridge Cemetery Chapel, and completed structural waterproofing for the Burberry flagship store.

1971: The Beginning

Tapco was founded in February 1971 by John Millroy as Tapco, short for Treatment and Preservation Company. The business was set up in response to a growing need for professional damp and timber preservation services as the property market expanded, and it was based from the start in Thames Ditton, Surrey.
