What services do we offer?
Roof repair or replacement
If your roof is not properly maintained it could leak and cause all manner of internal damage and decay, including the dreaded Dry Rot fungus (Serpula lacrymans) The main defects we often deal with are slipped or broken tiles or slates, defective chimney stacks and lead flashings, and defective soakers and flat roofs. We can carry out a full roof and maintenance survey and recommend exactly what repairs are required. Following your instructions the recommended work will be carried out by our experienced operatives, in accordance with good building practice.

Rainwater goods overhaul or replacement
Rainwater goods should be checked and cleaned as a part of your annual maintenance. Guttering has a tendency to block with leaves and debris every winter and severe weather conditions can also damage them, so regular checking is important. We can thoroughly clean your guttering using or very powerful Sky Vac, or if necessary, damaged items can be replaced to keep your home dry.

External rendering and repointing
External rendering: Someproperties have external rendering, which acts as a protection against rain penetration. In time this can weather and crack and allow rain to penetrate and become trapped. In winter this can freeze and when this happens it expands and forces larger areas away from the wall, causing more damage, more rain to penetrate and increasing internal damage.
Pointing is the mortar joint between the bricks, visible on the outside of a property. Different types of mortar have been used over the years and some are softer than others and become weak and porous. When this happens driving rain can penetrate between the bricks and cause damage internally.
Older properties in particular can be susceptible to internal damp problems which are caused by defective rendering or pointing, both of which deteriorate because of long-term exposure to the weather elements. Our experienced operatives will inspect and assess the defective rendering or pointing and can carry out all necessary repairs in accordance with good building practice.
In addition to normal maintenance services, we offer drain unblocking and repairs, including CCTV surveys and structural resin drain lining. We are also experts at surveying, repairing and replacing corroded wall ties, as well as resolving structural issues with cracked brickwork, caused by faulty or corroded wall ties.
